Threatened Species Project
Get involved in real-world conservation projects with your students
Zoos Victoria runs and delivers more captive breeding and recovery programs than any other institution within Australia in an effort to support wildlife. These free education resources will help you engage your students in the real-world threatened species conservation work at Zoos Victoria.
Local threated species projects

Golden-rayed Blue butterfly, Wimmera Catchment
The Golden-rayed Blue butterfly is endangered and only lives in certain areas. If you live within the Wimmera Catchment area (this includes schools in Balmoral and Hopetoun) we need your help improving habitat, raising awareness and contributing to citizen science for this species.
