The Media Consent Form is issued by The Zoological Parks And Gardens Board (Zoos Victoria).

Images are an important part of the Zoos Victoria brand and are used to convey the wonder and excitement of our visitors discovering new facts, seeing animals up close, and learning about the world around them.

Consent

By signing the Media Consent Form, you give consent for Zoos Victoria, or a third party authorised by Zoos Victoria, to capture images, sound recordings and/or footage (together, Media) of yourself and any minor(s) in your care, and to use that Media in the manner described below.

The Media may be used in Zoos Victoria’s and event partners (collectively "Promoters") advertising and promotional material, and may be distributed via a range of media, including (but not limited to) print, television and radio promotions, Zoos Victoria websites, and/or social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest or YouTube. Promoters may use those images in marketing campaigns, social media and media or for internal training.

The Media may be digitally edited, altered, distorted, used in whole or in part, in conjunction with other images, graphics, text and sound in any way whatsoever and without restrictions, and may or may not identify you by your full name.

You agree that you have voluntarily provided this consent and acknowledge that Zoos Victoria’s use of the Media does not give you any right to require payment or acknowledgement. There is no time limit on the validity of this consent.

Minors

If the subject of the Media is under 18, the consent must be given by a parent or guardian.

Privacy

Zoos Victoria collects your personal contact details in order to effectively manage its image library. The Media will be published as described in the Media Consent Form. The information you provide in the Media Consent Form may be stored by Zoos Victoria as part of its image library alongside the Media. Unless agreed otherwise with you, this information will only be used should Zoos Victoria need to get in contact with you regarding this consent.
