Gates open 5:30pm, the movie starts around 7:00pm, and the event finishes at approximately 9.30pm. Please have your membership card and entry tickets available for scanning upon entry.

The movie is screened outdoors on the Rail Gate Lawns. You can bring a picnic rug or a low-back chair. High-back chairs are not permitted as they can restrict the viewing for other visitors. Bean bags must be pre-purchased with a Golden Dragon Lounge ticket and will not be available to hire on the night. Please note umbrellas are not permitted as they disrupt the view of other visitors.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, and dress for the weather. This is an outdoor, all-weather event and it can get cold after sunset so bring warm layers and a jacket (a beanie/blanket is a good idea). If it’s sunny, pack a hat and sunscreen; if rain is forecast, bring a waterproof jacket. Please note umbrellas are not permitted as they disrupt the view of other visitors.
Zoos Victoria will monitor the weather in the lead up to the event. The event will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather and at the discretion of Zoos Victoria.

At Zoos Victoria, we pride ourselves on the way we care for animals. We lead the world in Zoo animal welfare and we give animals choice and control. Because of this, you will spend time hanging out with some of the coolest animals at the Zoo, but you won’t be able to touch them.
There are limited paid lockers available at the Rail Gate entrance. Keep your belongings with you at all times. Melbourne Zoo will not take responsibility for any items left unattended.
Personal photography is fine (no flash near animal areas). Event staff may capture crowd imagery so let us know at check-in if you prefer not to be photographed.
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Zoos Victoria.
