What's new

Fledgling Gang-gangs

Our adorable Gang-gang chicks have spread their wings in Healesville’s Woodlands aviary! We're thrilled to share that we have a handsome little guy and a lovely lady joining our feathered family. With their arrival, our aviary now hosts a delightful group of six Gang-gangs, making it livelier than ever! Gang-gang cockatoos are listed as Vulnerable in Eastern parts of Australia due to habitat loss. Help the Gang-gang and other Australian wildlife by keeping trees in the ground by joining our Wipe for Wildlife campaign.

Are you a bird nerd? Get exclusive access to the Land of the Parrots before it opens for the day with our new experience at Healesville Sanctuary. Let our ranger introduce you to some of our unique parrots and learn more about how and why we train them.
